After graduation, I worked for three years at the Pitie Salpetriere hospital in Paris while enrolled at the university of Pierre et Marie Curie to obtain CES. I moved to the UK in 1987 & trained in different disciplines of Medicine & obtained my MRCP (UK). I trained in Cardiology in Yorkshire. My main subspecialty is intervention, angiography & angioplasty of coronary arteries. I was awarded FRCP (London) & FRCP (Edinburgh). I am a senior lecturer at the school of medicine, university of Leeds. I am involved in both undergraduate teaching & postgraduate training. I am an honorary consultant at the Leeds teaching hospitals. I am part of the on call service in West Yorkshire for primary angioplasty. I have done a significant work abroad, particularly at Makassed hospital in Jerusalem & at Nablus hospitals. I stared the angioplasty service there & continue to lend support.
